FSG Delivers Turnkey LED Lighting Upgrade for Freehold Regional High School District in New Jersey

Challenge

The Freehold Regional High School District in New Jersey aimed to replace old, inefficient fluorescent and HID lighting with a complete district-wide LED retrofit, including upgrades to exterior lighting for two schools. To ensure the success of the project within the time and budget constraints, the district partnered with FSG's New Jersey branch, known for its experience, reliability, and reputation as a lighting and electrical contractor. Consequently, FSG was awarded a contract to perform a full LED retrofit of Howell High School and Freehold Borough High School, among other schools.

Solution

FSG's New Jersey branch successfully completed a large-scale LED retrofit project for the Freehold Regional High School District, which involved upgrading almost 11,000 fixtures across six high schools. The project was executed during the district's summer schedule while coordinating with other contractors. FSG installed a range of LED fixtures, including tubes, lamps, high bays, recessed fixtures, floodlights, wall packs, and pole-mounted fixtures. The project also included the installation of over 600 dual technology occupancy sensors in classrooms.

Result

Upon project completion, Pat Lagravenis, Director of Buildings and Grounds for the school district, stated his satisfaction with FSG's ability to work with the district's tight schedule and expectations for cleanliness.
