Challenge

When weather delays disrupted trenching work at a Texas Health Resources project in Denton, the electrical schedule was thrown off track. Once trenching was complete, crews were faced with a new challenge: safely handling and installing heavy, mission-critical electrical components in muddy and unstable conditions.

Solution

FSG’s Prefabrication team stepped in with a smart solution. By building the underground CUP rack offsite, the team eliminated the need for complex field assembly under difficult conditions. This approach not only improved jobsite safety, but also helped regain lost time in the construction schedule.

Result
