Lighting and HVAC Upgrade at Five Coach Locations

Challenge

Coach USA, a leading provider of charter and scheduled bus transportation, turned to FSG to modernize lighting and HVAC systems across five of its key facilities in New Jersey and New York City. With a mix of maintenance garages and high-visibility tourism sites, each location presented unique operational needs and energy challenges.

Solution

FSG performed comprehensive upgrades at sites in Paramus, Elizabeth, New Brunswick, and Westwood, NJ, as well as the Gray Line sightseeing hub in NYC. The lighting scope included high-efficiency fluorescent retrofits in maintenance areas, cold cathode solutions for decorative and marquis applications, and LED technology throughout. At the New Brunswick location, FSG also replaced the HVAC system to further enhance energy performance and occupant comfort.

Result

Beyond installation, FSG handled every aspect of the project—from design and engineering to material sourcing and labor. Crucially, FSG managed all rebate applications, securing incentives through NJ Clean Energy, Con Edison’s Zone Program, and PSE&G’s Direct Install program. The result: long-term savings, improved operational efficiency, and an upgraded environment across Coach USA’s critical sites.
