FSG Signs adds the final signage touches to a travel plaza in the homeland of the Chiricahua Apache Tribe

Challenge

FSG Signs was approached by vendor-partner Daktronics with an important project for The Chiricahua Apache Tribe. The tribe wanted a digital sign installed at their brand new state-of-the-art travel plaza in Deming, New Mexico. This travel plaza was a meaningful project for the tribe's and their homeland and FSG knew this project was more than just a regular sign install.

Solution

The project scope started with one digital billboard installation but soon grew beyond that. FSG Signs installed a Daktronics billboard at the travel plaza, allowing for messages to be broadcast to travelers passing through. The project grew in scope and FSG Signs also constructed and installed indoor signage, outdoor signage, and a high rise sign, with digital number display, at the travel plaza. FSG's El Paso branch assisted the Signs team by running additional needed power to the high rise and billboard.

Result

This project had been in development for years and the tribe is thrilled with the result. The tribe held a grand opening for the updated travel plaza in May 2023. FSG was honored to be part of a project that meant so much to so many people.
