Center for Advanced Biomedical Imaging Research Houston, Texas
Project
FSG performed electrical construction for the Center for Advanced Biomedical Imaging Research in Houston, TX.
Challenge
The University of Texas selected FSG to provide electrical construction services for its new Center for Advanced Biomedical Imaging Research, located in the heart of Houston’s Texas Medical Center. This state-of-the-art facility supports pioneering medical research and demanded a partner with precision, flexibility, and experience working in complex, active environments.Solution
FSG’s scope included the full electrical build-out of a first-generation space featuring twelve laboratories, animal holding areas, administrative offices, and supporting facilities. Each lab received its own dedicated electrical service from an existing bus duct system to ensure uninterrupted, specialized power delivery. The project also included the installation of an elaborate, custom-lit art piece in the administrative entrance, requiring special low-voltage lighting design and execution.Result
A new fire alarm system was seamlessly integrated into the building and connected to the existing life safety infrastructure, all while work was performed in an occupied facility with minimal disruption. FSG’s ability to deliver critical infrastructure safely and efficiently helped position UT’s biomedical imaging center for future innovation and growth.FSG projects consistently deliver excellence for our customers, for our employees, and for the communities we serve.
We see each project as an opportunity to embrace our mission and provide superior value through quality products, service, and support.
