The maintenance managers at Holt Caterpillar were spending too much time changing light bulbs, and over time they came to realize that what they really needed was a lighting professional. When it came to creating an efficient and effective lighting retrofit project, Holt Caterpillar needed a partner that could offer the right lighting solution without unnecessary cost and complications. FSG and GE worked together to audit the facility and specify the products. FSG believes it should never be difficult to get the right lighting, so we worked with Holt Caterpillar to create a process for getting exactly what it was they were looking for when it came to their facility.Solution
FSG's approach to the Holt Caterpillar project began with a focus on understanding the client's needs and offering solutions to achieve their goals of energy reduction and improved longevity. The use of LED technology allowed for a reduction in the number of fixtures while still improving lighting levels. The project presented challenges, as the shop had to remain operational during the installation, but FSG was able to identify and correct design issues in real-time to keep the project on track and on budget. The final step involved ongoing maintenance and support from FSG to ensure the long-term success of the project.Result
