Challenge
The Meeting Place is a local organization where people from all walks of life who encounter difficult times when purchasing basic needs. HOPE at the Meeting Place looks to help ease these challenges by serving local individuals and families through food support at The Meeting Place a building on Hope’s Campus. They were interested in replacing their old lighting and fixtures as well as their older rooftop HVAC unit as well as having the ability to lower their monthly energy payments while reducing their cost to maintain their older equipment.Solution
The local utility Direct Install program in New Jersey provided an opportunity for FSG to create an energy efficiency project that solved all of the demands of The Meeting Place. FSG built a comprehensive energy-efficiency project for The Meeting Place that included LED lighting, HVAC upgrades, and controls.Result
This project would have cost $34,425.99, but with the 77% incentives provided by the local utility, their customer cost was only $8,143.18 and they were able to get 0% interest and on-bill financing for this project for 5 years.
