FSG Provides High-End Networking Shine for Luxury Hotel Property

Challenge

When Dutch real estate investment company Wereldhave contracted to develop the luxury Eilan Hotel and Spa on San Antonio's rapidly-growing northwest side in 2011, the project owner knew its new property would need to offer the very latest in technology amenities for its exclusive clientele. With a focus on delivering cutting-edge voice, data, video, and security networking for the property, Wereldhave contracted directly with FSG's San Antonio branch and their Tero Technologies network designers.

Solution

FSG and Tero assigned their most experienced technicians to the high-end outfitting project from the start, which included all hotel common areas, guest rooms, and outdoor spaces. With high ceilings and unique design features, the project tested the skills of the entire FSG team. FSG's work scope included in-room cabling, security networking, emergency phone systems, elaborate speaker systems, and even the installation of televisions. Among the many luxurious amenities at the Eilan was an interactive dance studio that required FSG's expertise to enable live, one-on-one ballroom dance lessons between guests and professional dancers from around the world.

Result

The Eilan Hotel opened to rave reviews from local citizens and visitors to San Antonio alike. At the time of its opening, the facility quickly became known as the go-to luxury property for both discriminating travelers and locals wanting a special getaway experience close to home.
