The existing proprietary energy management systems (EMS) were cumbersome, limiting remote access and increasing maintenance costs. Sun City needed a streamlined, user-friendly system that provided real-time insights and remote control capabilities.Solution
FSG Smart Buildings implemented the Clarity Energy Management system, integrating 86 wireless thermostats across eight buildings and connecting them through Sun City’s fiber network. This centralized dashboard allowed the facilities team to monitor, adjust schedules, and modify setpoints in real time from any device with a wireless connection. The upgrade provided greater operational flexibility, essential for the community’s dynamic environment.Result
